Who says Adler is difficult to read?

Were you told, as I was in school, that Adler is difficult to read? Well, he’s not! (How did that rumor get started?!) His theory of personality is comprehensive and “elegant” in its simplicity. Here’s a list of readings that I provided for my students — readings by Adler and about his theory, but not necessarily in that order! (I also include some links to readings in which Adlerian-like concepts “come alive” [for example, an NPR show on how we “hold onto” our recollections, as well as the children’s book Harold and the Purple Crayon, which focuses on how we use what we have]). Please note that the original Adler writings aren’t even 35 pages in total (this in response to those graduate students who groaned when I assigned them in class!)
